Missing your APIW colleagues?  Wish you could have a shot of energy before diving into your work?  Kick start your day on Friday, June 19, 2020, from 8:30 - 9:00 a.m. EST as we again bring our APIW Community to our members virtually!

Grab a cup of coffee before you start your busy day and connect with other APIW members for a quick hit of energy!  This session features a chat with Ranjini Pillay, Vice President of Crum & Forster's Structured Products Group.  Ranjini will share some thoughts on her career, and advice she wished she had received.  Virtual networking and Q&A will be encouraged for our members to stay in touch during this time of social distancing.

Ranjini Pillay is a Vice President of Crum & Forster’s Structured Products Group, focusing on driving the company’s entry into the credit and structured insurance products designed to address a spectrum of the financial, strategic, and operational challenges facing companies and organizations around the world.

Prior to this, Ms. Pillay was a Senior Managing Director at Teneo Capital Advisory, the investment banking division of Teneo Holdings.  She co-founded and led Teneo Cobbs Allen, an insurance broker specializing in structured insurance products.

Ms. Pillay spent 29 years at AIG, working in Trade Credit & Political Risk, Product Development and in Risk Finance in North America, Great Britain, Europe and Asia.  Her most recent job there was as global head of Alternative Risk and Chief Underwriting Officer for AIG’s Multinational and Alternative Risk group, a division of AIG.

She received a Masters of International Affairs (M.I.A.) in International Banking and Finance from Columbia University and a Bachelors of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Accounting from John Cabot International College in Rome, Italy.

Ms. Pillay has been involved with a variety of non-profit organizations and industry groups.  She was awarded the 2010 Asian Women In Business (AWIB) Corporate Leadership Award and the 2011 Woman of Distinction Award from the Girl Scouts of Greater New York and was recently honored by Union Settlement of East Harlem in May 2018.
