Please join us virtually for a mixology event on Thursday, February 10^th, 2021 at 4:00 pm CT.  Our very own APIW member, Tawana Scott, Vice President at SageSure Insurance Managers and a certified mixologist, will be concocting a cocktail and a sister mocktail. Ingredients needed will be sent out prior to the event.

Tawana Scott is the Vice President, Commercial Insurance Product and Underwriting at SageSure Insurance Managers.  In this role she oversees the development and implementation of SageSure’s commercial product line for small business owners in challenged, coastal markets while also overseeing the commercial underwriting division.

Tawana has over 30 years of experience in commercial insurance and prior to SageSure she  was the Vice President, Commercial Lines at a local insurance company in Honolulu, HI.  She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Rutgers University, is a Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter, holds the Associate in Underwriting and Associate in Reinsurance Designations and is a New Jersey licensed insurance producer.

In her spare time, she loves spending time with her children and five grandchildren, concocting new cocktails with her strong interest in mixology, rhythm & blues line dancing, is an avid reader, owns an off-premises catering company and her new found passion is running.
